DWT attorneys had an incredible experience at this year's National LGBTQ+ Bar Association's Lavender Law Conference & Career Fair. The team ventured to Washington, D.C., where Scott Commerson, our LGBTQ+ Attorneys Affinity Group co-chair, moderated a discussion around trademark practice and policy alongside USPTO Trademarks Commissioner David Gooder. Stay tuned for more pictures!

This past weekend, our SF office held a summer event at SPARK Social SF and Parklab Gardens, where our attorneys and staff, along with their friends and families, enjoyed mountain climbing, face painting, mini golf, and cornhole. Thank you to Robin Huey for putting this incredible event together!

DWT's career fair booth was well staffed for this year’s Lavender Law Conference & Career Fair in Washington, D.C., where Hiroko Peraza, Ayanna Ryans-Holder, and the team spoke with current and soon-to-be law students who visited our table. A special thank-you to the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association for hosting a successful event full of engaging panels and valuable networking opportunities with law students, legal professionals, and lawyers.

Beware the new Strike Force on Unfair and Illegal Pricing—that’s what DWT partners Gerald Stein and Kristi Wolff say in their latest piece. The task force, born out of a recent meeting of the White House Competition Council, is designed to “root out” corporate behavior behind price hikes in virtually every consumer-facing market, from retail goods to credit cards and “junk fees.”Read it here:
